মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী, বিগত সরকার অন্যায়ভাবে চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাসকে জেলে দিয়েছিলো, আপনি তাঁকে মুক্তি দিন
শিতাংশু গুহ, নিউইয়র্ক, ১৫ই ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬।। সবাই জানে চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাস (প্রভু) হত্যাকারী নন, তবু তিনি হত্যা মামলায় জেলে, এবং শুধু তাই নয়, প্রধান অভিযুক্ত। প্রথমে তাঁকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছিলো রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহ মামলায়, তার এক কর্মী বাংলাদেশের পতাকার ওপর নাকি ইস্কনের পতাকা লাগিয়েছিল, এজন্যে? যখন বোঝা গেলো যে, এ মামলায় তাঁকে ফাঁসানো যাবেনা, তখন এডভোকেট আলিফ হত্যা মামলায় তাঁকে ফাঁসানো হলো। ক’দিন আগে এ মামলায় তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে চার্জ গঠন করা হয়, এবং তাঁকে আদালতে তোলা হয়। সেখানে চিন্ময় প্রভু হাতজোড় করে বলেন, ‘ধর্মাবতার, জীবহত্যা করতে হবে বলে আমি মাছমাংস খাইনা, আর আমাকেই দেয়া হলো হত্যা মামলা’। বিচারক তখন ফ্যালফ্যাল করে তাঁর দিকে তাকিয়ে বলেছেন যে, ‘প্রভু, আমি রাষ্ট্রের চাকুরী করি’। নুতন সরকার ক্ষমতাসীন হচ্ছে, পুরাতন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের এ অন্যায় সংশোধন করা দরকার।
এডভোকেট আলিফ হত্যা দু:খজনক, তিনি ষড়যন্ত্রের শিকার, চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাসকে ফাঁসাতেই তাকে পরিকল্পিতভাবে হত্যা করা হয়. শোনা যায়, তিনি ভাল লোক ছিলেন। রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহ মামলায় চিন্ময় প্রভুকে যেদিন চট্টগ্রামে আদালতে তোলা হয়, সেদিনই এডভোকেট আলিফ কোর্ট প্রাঙ্গনে নির্মমভাবে খুন হ’ন। চিন্ময় প্রভু তখন প্রিজন ভ্যানে পুলিশ হেফাজতে ছিলেন। শুধু চিন্ময় প্রভু নন, এই হত্যা মামলায় আরো বেশ ক’জন হিন্দু ছেলে অভিযুক্ত, এঁরা অনেকেই জেলে, কেউ কেউ পলাতক। চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাস প্রভু’র বিরুদ্ধে রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহের মামলাটি করেছেন একজন বিএনপি কর্মী, বিএনপি তাঁকে বহিস্কার করেছে। একই দলের একজন প্রার্থী আবু সুফিয়ান বলেছেন, ওই কর্মীকে দিয়ে মামলাটি করিয়েছে একটি গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা। আবু সুফিয়ান নির্বাচনে জয়ী হয়েছেন কিনা আমার জানা নেই।
ভাবি প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমানের কথাবার্তায় ইতিবাচক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি লক্ষ্য করা যাচ্ছে, এটি শুভ লক্ষণ। তার দলের একজন কর্মী চিন্ময় প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহিতার মিথ্যা মামলাটি দিয়েছে, যারজন্যে এই সাধু আজো জেলে পচছেন। যদিও তিনি রাজনৈতিক নন, তবু তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে মামলাগুলো রাজনৈতিক প্রতিহিংসা থেকে উৎসারিত। কারণ তিনি হিন্দুদের অধিকার আদায়ে ‘অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার হয়েছিলেন। শুধুমাত্র জামাত-এনসিপি ও ধর্মান্ধ গোষ্ঠী ব্যতীত দেশের শুভবুদ্ধি সম্পন্ন মানুষ চিন্ময় প্রভু’র মুক্তি চায়। আশা করি প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান বিষয়টি সহৃয়তার সাথে বিবেচনা করবেন। আমরা চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাস প্রভুর মুক্তি চাই।
মানুষের জন্যে ফাউন্ডেশন নির্বাহী পরিচালক শাহীন আনাম বলেছেন, ধর্মীয় অনুভূতিতে আঘাতের মিথ্যা অভিযোগে সংখ্যালঘুদের হত্যা, জুলুম চলছেই, ইউনুস সরকার কি আক্রমণকারীদের দায়মুক্তি দিচ্ছেন? সম্মানিত প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান, আপনি অবগত আছেন যে, ২০১২-এ রামু থেকে বাংলাদেশে ধর্ম অবমাননার অজুহাতে সংখ্যালঘুদের ওপর বারবার আক্রমন হয়েছে, মানুষ হতাহত হয়েছে, বাড়ীঘর পুড়েছে, নারীর সম্ভ্রম লুট হয়েছে। অথচ প্রায় প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রেই ঘটনার সত্যতা খুঁজে পাওয়া যায়নি। দৃষ্টান্ত স্বরূপ রামু ও নাসিরনগর ঘটনা উল্লেখ্য। সর্বশেষ ময়মনসিংহের ভালুকায় দিপু চন্দ্র দাসের নির্মম হত্যাকান্ড আবারো চোখে আঙ্গুল দিয়ে দেখিয়ে দিয়েছে যে, একটি গোষ্ঠী হিন্দুদের যেকোন উপায়ে নির্মূল করতে উদ্যত। এটি বন্ধ হওয়া দরকার। সিএসএ (সাইবার সিকিউরিটি এক্ট) আইনটি হিন্দুদের বিরুদ্ধে ‘ব্লাসফেমী;’ হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে। এ বিষয়ে আপনার দৃষ্টি আকর্ষন করে আইনটি বাতিলের দাবি জানিয়ে রাখলাম।
তারেক জিয়া সদ্য ক্ষমতাসীন হচ্ছেন, বিশাল দাবি’র ফর্দ নিয়ে তাঁর কাছে হাজির হচ্ছিনা, তবে চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাস প্রভু’র মুক্তি এবং ইসলাম অবমাননার ভুয়া অভিযোগে হিন্দুর ওপর নির্যাতন বন্ধ হওয়া দরকার। বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে জেনারেল জিয়া, জেনারেল এরশাদ, বেগম খালেদা জিয়া ও শেখ হাসিনা’র আমলে বাংলাদেশে হিন্দুরা বারবার নির্যাতিত হয়েছে। প্রতিপক্ষ রাজনৈতিক কর্মীরা নির্যাতিত হয়েছে। সব সরকারের আমলে আমরা দেশে-বিদেশে আন্দোলন করতে বাধ্য হয়েছি। আমরা চাইনা সংখ্যালঘু নির্যাতনকারী হিসাবে তারেক জিয়ার নামটি ওই তালিকায় যুক্ত হোক, অথবা সংখ্যালঘু নির্যাতনের প্রতিবাদে আবার আমরা রাস্তায় নামতে বাধ্য হই। পুরো বিশ্বে এটি প্রতিঠিত যে, বাংলাদেশে হিন্দুরা নির্যাতিত। এটি দেশের জন্যে অগৌরবের, আপনি পারেন, এথেকে জাতিকে মুক্তি দিতে।
বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রযন্ত্রটি ‘সাম্প্রদায়িক’ হয়ে গেছে, এটিকে অসাম্প্রদায়িক করা দরকার। ড. ইউনূসের অন্তর্বর্তী সরকার দেশে সাম্প্রদায়িকতা চরমভাবে উস্কে দিয়েছে। অনেকেই একথা বলতে পছন্দ করেন যে, বাংলাদেশে সংখ্যালঘু বলতে কিছু নেই, কথাটা সত্য নয়, রাষ্ট্র একটি ধর্মকে প্রাধান্য দেয়, অন্য ধর্মকে মর্যাদা দেয়না, রাষ্ট্রধর্ম থাকলে ‘সংখ্যালঘু’ও থাকবে। অতীতে সকল সরকার জেনেশুনে মিথ্যা বলতেন যে, বাংলাদেশ সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতির চমৎকার দৃষ্টান্ত। তাই যদি হতো তাহলে ২৯৯ আসনের মধ্যে মাত্র ৪জন হিন্দু নির্বাচিত হতেন না? নির্বাচনে বিএনপি ৬জন, জামাত ও এনসিপি ১জন করে মনোনয়ন দিয়েছিলো। এতটা মানসিক দৈন্যতা নিয়ে সম্প্রীতির কথা বলা যায়না। বর্তমান সরকারের কাছে আমরা কাজ চাই, মুখে সম্প্রীতির লেকচার চাইনা। রাষ্ট্রযন্ত্র অসাম্প্রদায়িক হলে ঐসব মিথ্যাচারের প্রয়োজন হয়না। গোষ্ঠী নয়, রাষ্ট্র হোক মানুষের কল্যানে নিয়োজিত।

The murder of Advocate Alif is tragic, he was the victim of a conspiracy, he was killed in a planned manner to trap Chinmoy Krishna Das. It is said that Advocate Alif was a good man and he was brutally murdered on the court premises on the same day that Chinmoy Prabhu was produced before the court in Chittagong in the sedition case. Chinmoy Prabhu was in police custody in a prison van at the time. Apart from Chinmoy Prabhu, several other Hindu boys are also accused in the murder case, many of whom are in jail and some are absconding. A BNP activist filed the sedition case against Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu, later he was expelled by the party. Abu Sufian, who was a candidate of the same party, said that the BNP worker was forced to file the case by an intelligence agency. I don’t know if Abu Sufyan won the election.
I think there is a positive outlook in Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s speech, which is a good sign. One of his party workers has filed the false case of sedition against Chinmoy Prabhu, for which Pravu is still languishing in jail. Although he is not a political element, the cases against him stem from political vendetta. Because he was vocal against the interim government for the rights of the Hindus. Except for Jamaat-NCP (National Citizens’ Party) and fanatical groups, the well-intentioned people of the country want the release of Chinmoy Prabhu. I hope Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will consider the matter with patience. We want the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu.

Tarique Zia is just coming to power, I am not coming to him with a big list of demands, but the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu and the persecution of Hindus on false allegations of insulting Islam should be stopped. In the history of Bangladesh, Hindus have been repeatedly persecuted during the tenure of General Zia, General Ershad, Begum Khaleda Zia and Sheikh Hasina. Opposition political activists have been persecuted. During the tenure of all the governments, we were forced to carry out movements at home and abroad. We don’t want Tarique Zia’s name to be included in the list as a minority persecutor, or we are forced to take to the streets again to protest against the persecution of minorities. It is well known all over the world that Hindus are persecuted in Bangladesh. It’s a disgrace to the country, you can get rid of the nation from it.
The state machinery of Bangladesh has become ‘communal’, it needs to be made non-communal. Dr. Yunus’s interim government has instigated communalism in the country. In Bangladesh government people like to say that there is no such thing as a minority in Bangladesh, it is not true, the state gives priority to one religion, does not respect other religions, if there is a state religion, there will be a religious ‘minority’. In the past, all the governments knowingly lied that Bangladesh was a wonderful example of communal harmony. If that were the case, why would only 4 Hindus be elected out of 299 seats in 2026? In the election, BNP nominated 6 religious minority candidates, Jamaat and NCP 1 each. Harmony cannot be spoken of with so much mental bigotry! We want the present government to effectively work for the religious minorities. We don’t want a lecture on harmony. If the state apparatus is secular, there is no need for such lies. The state should be engaged for all its citizens’, not for a particular religion, or religious group.
